Multifunction Process Calibrator : Accuracy 0.02% voltage (DCV), current (mA), resistance (Ω), thermocouples (TC), thermal resistance (RTD), frequency 24 / 25
Price range: $959.99 through $1,159.99
The VICTOR 24 and VICTOR 25 are high-reliability, multifunction process calibrators designed for instrumentation technicians, control engineers, and maintenance professionals. With a solid basic accuracy of 0.02%, these handheld devices integrate measurement and output capabilities for voltage (DCV), current (mA), resistance (Ω), thermocouples (TC), thermal resistance (RTD), and frequency.
Key Differentiator: The VICTOR 25 adds pressure calibration functionality (display shows “MPa” units), allowing users to connect external pressure modules and calibrate pressure transmitters, switches, and gauges. The VICTOR 24 does not include pressure calibration.
Both models feature loop power supply, data hold, backlight (HD), manual/automatic stepping, and USB communication. The VICTOR 25 also offers enhanced protection (60Vpk between VΩHz and COM) and a dedicated 25%/100% step function for quick 4-20mA linearity checks.

1. High Accuracy for Reliable Calibration (0.02%)
With a basic accuracy of ±0.02% (reading + range), both calibrators provide lab-grade confidence in a portable tool. The temperature coefficient is just 0.1 × accuracy specification per °C outside the 18–28°C range, ensuring accuracy remains stable in hot boiler rooms or cold outdoor cabinets.
2. True Multifunction: Measure & Source in One Device
Eliminate the need for separate meters and signal generators:
- Measure: DCV, mA (with loop power), resistance, RTDs, thermocouples, and frequency.
- Source: Simulate DCV, mA, resistance, RTD, TC, and frequency signals.
- Loop Power: Built-in 24V loop supply powers transmitters while measuring their 4-20mA output.
3. VICTOR 25 Exclusive: Pressure Calibration Function
This is the critical advantage of the VICTOR 25 over the 24.
- The VICTOR 25 display explicitly shows "MPa" units, confirming pressure measurement and source capabilities.
- Connect external pressure modules to calibrate:
- Pressure transmitters (4-20mA loop-powered)
- Pressure switches (setpoint and reset testing)
- Pressure gauges (analog and digital)
- I/P converters (current-to-pressure)
- Combine pressure generation (via external hand pump) with electrical measurement – simultaneously apply pressure and read the transmitter's mA output on the same device.
- This makes the VICTOR 25 a complete pressure and electrical loop calibrator, eliminating the need for separate pressure calibration equipment for routine jobs.
Use Case Example: A technician testing a 4-20mA pressure transmitter at 0%, 50%, and 100% of span. The VICTOR 25 measures the applied pressure (via external module) and the mA output simultaneously, calculates error, and stores results – all in one tool.
4. Superior Noise Rejection for Stable Readings
Industrial environments are electrically noisy. Both models deliver:
- NMRR: ≥60dB at 50/60Hz – rejects line-frequency noise.
- CMRR: ≥140dB at 50/60Hz – eliminates ground loop interference, ensuring stable readings on long cable runs.
5. Advanced Temperature Compensation for TC & RTD
Both models feature an internal temperature compensation sensor from -10°C to 50°C with compensation error ≤0.5°C. Support includes TC types K, E, J, T, B, R, S, N and RTDs such as Pt100, Pt200, Pt500, Cu50, and more.
6. Rugged Input Protection
- VICTOR 24: 30Vpk between VΩHz and COM; mA input protected by 100mA/250V fast-blow fuse.
- VICTOR 25: Enhanced protection with 60Vpk on VΩHz/COM terminals – better suited for industrial panels with higher stray voltages.
7. User-Friendly Features for Efficient Workflow
- Data Hold, AVG, HD Backlight: Freeze readings, filter noise with averaging, and work in low light.
- VICTOR 25 Exclusive – 25%/100% Step Key: Instantly output 4, 8, 12, 16, and 20mA for rapid linearity checks of valve positioners and transmitters.
- Manual/Automatic Stepping & Run Cycles: Automate ramping and stepping tests.
- USB Communication: Upload data for documentation and compliance.
- ZERO Function: Quickly null offsets.
8. Designed for the Real World: 1-Year Calibration Cycle
Both models maintain 0.02% accuracy for one full year under normal use (18–28°C, 35–70% RH). Operating range extends from 5°C to 40°C with a defined temperature coefficient.
Which One Should You Choose?
- Choose VICTOR 24 if you work exclusively with electrical signals (V, mA, Ω, TC, RTD, frequency) and do not require pressure calibration. It is a cost-effective, high-accuracy electrical calibrator.
- Choose VICTOR 25 if you routinely calibrate pressure transmitters, pressure switches, I/P converters, or any device combining pressure input with electrical output. The built-in pressure calibration support (external module required) plus higher input protection (60Vpk) and dedicated step keys make it a true all-in-one process calibrator for both pressure and electrical loops.
For the instrumentation technician who faces both pressure and electronic loops daily, the VICTOR 25 is the clear upgrade – offering pressure capabilities that the VICTOR 24 simply does not have.
